Bible Verse Reflection

This beatitude is derived from Jesus’ brother. He had been there and not only taught about it! James believed the value of “hanging in” and “hanging on” in times when his faith was in danger. He believed that God loves us and God has made unimaginable promises regarding what is to come for us. He believed that the time of test could become an opportunity for great blessing. James is adamant that God wants to shower our lives with eternal life! That’s the reason Jesus was sent by God.

My Prayer

Dear Father thank You for the occasions when you helped me in times of attack and supported me even when I was exhausted and ready to leave. Embed “perseverance” deep within my heart and give me the spirit of perseverance to help me serve You regardless of the external circumstances of my life. In the Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
