Bible Verse Reflection

If a person who is a Christian truly connects with Christ and believes in Christ’s power to lead him through life, it’s the time when God’s strength is made stronger in our weakness. It is then that the breeze of God can lift us with eagles’ wings to help us to get through life’s challenges and strains by the Holy Spirit.

It is when a man and woman God is willing to acknowledge their weaknesses and incapacity that they are able to be empowered by Him to draw water from the endless source of His never-ending provision, and get a full dose of the waters of God’s abundant supply.

It is at this point that the spiritual battery gets regenerated and renewed by Christ’s unlimited power, which allows us to win the straight race and, with His power, to race in such a way to be able to take home the prize, to fulfill the call to heaven to follow the call of God to us through Christ Jesus.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, I am aware that my strength will only be gained through Christ. Please help me, I pray, to put my trust in the power I will only get through Christ Jesus.

I pray to really rise above every obstacle in my life and race with perseverance the race set before me, with my eyes fixed on Jesus My sole source of strength and my sole source of refueling. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
