He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. — Isaiah 40:29 KJV
Bible Verse Reflection
These words of Isaiah were true joy for Israel’s faithful remnant, but they also offer great encouragement and comfort to those who are weary and burdened.
Jesus was sent to be the Shepherd of the sheep, to be the Door to the sheepfold, to be the Way, Truth, Life and Light for all who trust in His name for forgiveness of sins, and for everlasting life. He deserves praise.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I am grateful and humbled that You are a gracious God who is long-suffering, generous with mercy, justice and comfort. We thank You for Your mercy and grace. You promised those who wait upon You and look to Jesus will be able to fly high as eagles. I pray in Jesus powerful name. Amen.
