Bible Verse Reflection
Life is a race with a finish line. We are encouraged to keep our eyes on the goal and to be determined to reach it. That goal is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is important to let go of everything that hinders our progress and follow the Lord Jesus unflaggingly.
We are all following the example of so many witnesses. Let us try to let go of any weight that might hinder our Christian faith so we don’t fall into the temptation to be unbelieving. Let us race with patience and look to JESUS as the Author and Finisher.
My Prayer
Dear Father, I am grateful for all the people who have faith in Scripture and are able to bear witness to Your Word being trustworthy and true. Help me to trust You in all the trials and difficulties that I face.
Allow me to remove any encumbrances that could hinder my Christian progress and witness, and help me persevere as I push toward the goal. May you help me to persevere through all of life’s obstacles with the Holy Spirit’s power and to be a living testimony to Your truth. I pray in Jesus Name. Amen.
