Galatians 6:9 – Today’s Verse for February 19, 2025 Wednesday

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.“
Galatians 6:9 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

This verse is both a comfort and a challenge. Comfort, because it reassures us that our efforts aren’t wasted—God sees them. Challenge, because it reminds us that patience is part of faith. The “proper time” isn’t always when we want it. Sometimes we sow seeds of kindness, faithfulness, and obedience, and we expect instant results. But God works in seasons, not seconds.

Think about a farmer. He plants in faith, waters with diligence, and waits with expectation. He doesn’t dig up the seeds every day to check if they’re growing—he trusts the process. That’s the mindset we need. Keep sowing goodness, keep trusting, keep going.

Maybe you’re in a season where you’re tempted to quit—on a relationship, a dream, or even on your faith. But what if the breakthrough is just around the corner? What if you’re closer than you think? God promises a harvest if we don’t give up.

So, take a deep breath. Keep moving forward. The harvest is coming.

Personal Prayer

Heavenly Father, sometimes, I get tired. I try to do what’s right, to love, to serve, to be faithful—but I don’t always see the results. It’s easy to feel discouraged, to wonder if my efforts even matter. But Your Word reminds me that if I don’t give up, there is a harvest waiting.

Lord, give me strength when I feel weary. Give me patience when the waiting feels long. Help me trust that You are working behind the scenes, even when I can’t see it. Remind me that obedience is never wasted, and that in Your perfect timing, the seeds I’ve planted will bear fruit.

Fill my heart with endurance, my spirit with hope, and my hands with the willingness to keep going. Let me be faithful not because of what I get in return, but because You are faithful first.

I surrender the outcome to You, knowing that Your promises never fail. I choose to trust You. I choose to keep going.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
