Reflection on Today's Verse
The gospel isn’t a fragile idea that needs your protection. It’s God’s power strong enough to save, strong enough to change a heart, strong enough to keep you when you feel weak. Your confidence doesn’t come from how persuasive you are; it comes from what the message is.
So when fear shows up… fear of rejection, fear of being misunderstood, don’t wrestle it by trying to become “braver you.” Bring it back to the truth: the gospel carries its own weight. Your part is not to perform; your part is to believe it, live it, and not be ashamed of Christ. Even quiet faithfulness… consistent, sincere, unembarrassed trust in the Lord… can be a loud witness.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You for the gospel of Christ… Your power unto salvation. Forgive me for the moments I’ve been ashamed, timid, or more concerned about approval than truth. Strengthen my heart to stand steady in Your grace.
Help me speak with humility and love, but also with clarity and courage. Keep me anchored in Christ, and let my life point others to the saving message. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
