So if you feel stuck, dry, or spiritually tired, this verse gives you a simple reset: receive it as truth. Not because your feelings are strong… but because God’s Word is. The power isn’t in your effort to “make it work.” The power is in God’s Word working in you as you rest in what He says.
Personal Prayer
Father, I thank thee for thy Word. Forgive me for the times I have treated it lightly, as if it were only the word of men. Help me to receive it as it is in truth… the Word of God. Strengthen my faith to believe what thou hast spoken, and let thy Word work effectually in me today.
Quiet my doubts, settle my heart, and guide my steps. Teach me to rest in thy grace and to walk in obedience from a thankful heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
