Bible Verse Reflection

The fight we are facing is not one of physical strength. It is instead an internal battle involving powers that we cannot readily recognize and are extremely effective. It is not a good idea to think of this as a fictional conflict or as a meaningless fight. It’s as clear as Satan was standing at the door of Cain’s, wanting to be his guest as his victim, he is now crouching at our front door (Genesis 4:17).

He will make use of his evil forces to do whatever it takes to defeat, devastate and alter us. We must treat this battle seriously and acknowledge the power of God in our adversaries.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, please forgive my sins for all the instances that I did not take the danger of evil seriously. I pray for a holy repulsion at anything that is connected to the unholy and is in conflict with your work and your will.

Don’t let me be fooled by temptation , and free me from the wrath of the devil in all its form. In the prayer of Jesus I pray. Amen.
