“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God.“
— Ephesians 2:19 KJV
Reflection on Today's Verse
This verse is a warm welcome home. Not to a place—but to a Person. You’re not on the outside, peeking through the windows of grace. You belong. You’re not a visitor in God’s house trying to impress your way in. You’re family. No performance required.
The cross didn’t just save you from something—it brought you into something. Into a people. Into a purpose. Into a place where your worth isn’t earned, it’s inherited.
You don’t have to hustle for belonging. God’s already signed your name into the family book. You sit at the table not because you’re perfect, but because He is. That’s grace. And it’s not up for negotiation.
You’re not lost. You’re home.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You for bringing me in when I felt like I didn’t belong. For calling me family when I saw myself as a stranger. You didn’t ask me to clean up before coming home—you just opened the door and called me Yours.
Remind me, when I feel unworthy or out of place, that I’m not a guest in Your house—I’m Your child. Help me live like someone who belongs, not someone trying to earn it. Let that grace shape how I treat others too—welcoming, patient, and full of mercy.
Thank You for giving me a place at Your table. I’m home because of You. Amen.
