Reflection on Today's Verse
This verse doesn’t say God will only meet the size of your request. It says He is able to do exceeding abundantly above what you ask or think. And it adds something personal: this happens according to the power that worketh in us. That means God isn’t distant from your daily life. He’s present, working in you, strengthening your faith, shaping your decisions, and steadying your heart.
So today, you don’t have to carry the pressure of making everything work. You can bring your needs honestly, trust His ability fully, and rest in the truth that His power is already at work in you.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You for reminding me that You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think. When my mind is anxious and my faith feels small, help me remember Your power is not small. Strengthen me from within. Teach me to trust You beyond what I can see and beyond what I can control.
I bring You my needs, my fears, and my hopes. Work in me, guide me, and let Your will be done in my life. I choose to rest in Your ability and not my own. (1, 2, 3)
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
