Reflection on Today's Verse
The law doesn’t exist to make you feel “almost good enough.” It exists to show you the truth: on your own, you can’t win the argument, and you can’t fix the problem. That sounds heavy until you realize what it opens the door to.
When your mouth is stopped, grace starts speaking. You stop defending yourself and start depending on Christ. And that’s where peace lives: not in you proving you’re right, but in Him being your righteousness.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You for Your Word that tells the truth about me and about You. I confess that I cannot stand before You in my own goodness. I’ve tried to justify myself, explain myself, and clean myself up. But today I rest in what Christ has done for me.
Thank You that my standing with You is not based on my performance, but on His finished work. Quiet my heart, stop my striving, and fill me with gratitude and humility. Help me walk today in the peace of Your grace, and let my life point to Jesus.
