Ephesians 2:5 – Today’s Verse for December 1, 2025 Monday

Reflection on Today's Verse from Ephesians 2:5 - December 1st 2025

Reflection on Today's Verse

God didn’t wait for you to clean up, say you’d do better, or show that you were serious. He “quickened” you, which means he made you alive with Christ. The same life that brought Christ back to life also came to you when you had nothing to give. That means your relationship with God doesn’t depend on how well you do today. It is based on what Christ has already done.

So when guilt, failure, or old religious ideas tell you, “You’re not doing enough,” remember this: “by grace ye are saved.” You don’t live to keep your spirit alive. You live out of the life that Christ has already given you. Take comfort in that. Go ahead and walk in that. Give Him thanks for that.

Personal Prayer

Thank You, Father, for not leaving me dead in my sins. By Your grace alone, You made me alive with Christ. When I start to think about myself, my work, and my failures, remind me that my salvation is based only on what Jesus has already done.

Help my heart to rest in Your grace and not in what I do. Please help me walk today as a person who has been made alive in Christ, who is free, forgiven, and accepted. Let my life point others to the same grace that saved me. Amen.
