Reflection on Today's Verse
Christian love should never remain stagnant. Paul prayed that believers would increase and abound in love, not only toward one another, but toward all people.
Love grows when we choose patience over irritation, forgiveness over resentment, kindness over indifference, and compassion over judgment. We may not always find it easy to love others, especially when relationships are difficult, but God will strengthen our hearts beyond what we could accomplish in our own.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the love, grace, and mercy You have shown me. Help me to increase and abound in love toward the people around me.
Give me patience when I am frustrated, kindness when it is difficult, compassion when someone is hurting, and a forgiving heart when I have been wronged.
Teach me to love not only those who are easy to love, but also those who challenge me. I pray that my words, attitudes, and actions reflect Your goodness, and may Your love become more visible in my life each day.
