But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. — Acts 20:24 KJV
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. — Acts 20:24 NIV
Thought and Reflection
We see how important is grace in our Christian life? Paul said that telling about that grace was more important to him than his very life. The fact is that it was his life after his conversion to Jesus.
How about us? Do we have that same life like Paul?
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for your wonderful and magnificent grace demonstrated and fully expressed in sending Jesus to die for me.
Teach me to offer my life as a living sacrifice to You. Just like Paul, help me to have that same heart. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
