But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. — Romans 5:8 KJV
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. — Romans 5:8 NIV
Thought and Reflection
God didn’t wait for us to be “good enough” before He offered His salvation. He came to us when we needed Him most. That’s the definition of love according to God. It is more than something that can be felt or declared, it is something that can be radically demonstrated.
My Prayer
Heavenly loving Father, I thank You for showing Your love in such a powerful and sacrificial way. Teach me to remember day by day your goodness and love to all who believe. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
