Bible Verse Reflection
We are well conscientious that we are living in a broken society. However, our damaged world also is brimming of broken persons. In time of suffering, when the hurting feel their inability to help, we have no other option than God to whom we can turn. The LORD God of Israel, who has kept His word and protected His people, is also a God who stands by us.
There are instances that He does not appear to being attentive or even caring. What do we do during these times? Try everything so we don’t have thoughts and doubts? Yes, we sincerely pray for God our LORD who has been redeemed and saved many in the past. We ask God to be the same for us in the present day.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, God of hope don’t remain far from us during the darkest of days. Bring back joy in living, and promise of good things.
Give us peace in times of sorrow and suffering. Take your hand up and do something to bring repentance and revival to our times as well as our families, our society, and Your church. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
