Bible Verse Reflection
Most of the time, those of us who have experienced the benefits of faith and the rules of the Scriptures of God do not completely recognize them. Do you think about what it is like to identify one’s value, define ones beliefs, and establish one’s identity without a reference point to truth? Imagine what it could be as if you were lost without a map, and without any compass?
Do you remember what it was like to be awake in an unfamiliar area as a kid in pitch black darkness completely lost? It’s not necessary to be concerned about it now do we? God’s Word – both Scripture and His Son will illuminate our dark streets and lead us back home!
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank you for not letting me go into darkness. Your Word is the light that illuminates my way and your Son is the Light in the World, lights my life. Thank you for never leaving me to fend for myself to seek my way. I pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
