Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. — Philippians 4:9 KJV
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. — Philippians 4:9 NIV
Bible Verse Reflection
When we try to pass on our belief to children and acquaintances as well as our spiritual “children” in the faith it is important to remember Paul’s model. He was a man of the truth. He shared the truth that was disclosed and passed down to him. He demonstrated the truth in his actions. Paul then called on the people he was teaching to put that principle into their lives.
They would be able to experience the fullness that is God within their own lives and experience peace God is eager to grant to them.
My Prayer
Dear Lord, please help me to be an effective teacher through word and deed, as I strive to influence others around me and those in need of my assistance in their Christian practice, and also members of my family who want to grow in your grace. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
