Bible Verse Reflection

While our post-salvation sins were forever forgiven by the cross of Christ but our relationship with God the Father is broken when we allow our previous sinful nature guide our lives. This means that the relationship that we had with Him is now broken.

However, if we surrender all thoughts in the hands of Christ and walk in the light just as Christ lives in light, and confess any wrongdoings and actions (whether they are wrong actions that we’ve done or good things we did not do) God is faithful and willing to forgive us of our sins, rid us of all sins and to keep our sins no longer.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the fact that Christ sacrificed His life to pay for my sins and ended the impact of sin in my own life. Thank You that through Him I am in communion with You and have free access to the Lordship of Grace.

I acknowledge that I haven’t walked in truth and spirit, however I have been tempted  to satisfy my own selfish desires. I confess that I have done things that did not please You and not doing the things I should have done. But I thank You that You have been faithful, and righteous to forgive my transgressions and continue cleansing me. I ask You to cleanse me from sin. I thank You Father and in Jesus name. Amen.
