Reflection on Today’s Verse
Jesus Christ was delivered to the cross because of our sins and raised from the dead for our justification. His resurrection proves that the payment for sin was complete and fully accepted by God.
We cannot earn a right standing with God through good works, religious rituals, or personal merit. Justification is God’s gift, received by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Because He lives, everyone who trusts in Him can rest in the assurance of forgiveness, peace with God, and eternal life.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for delivering Your Son for my sins and raising Him from the dead for my justification. Help me to rest completely in Christ’s finished work rather than trusting in my own efforts.
Strengthen my faith and help me live each day with gratitude, peace, and confidence in Your grace.
