Reflection on Today's Verse
Christ died for us not after we had corrected our lives, but while we were still sinners. His love is not a reward for good behavior; it is grace freely given to people who desperately need it.
This truth frees us from believing we must earn God’s acceptance. We can come to Him honestly with our failures, regrets, and weaknesses knowing that the cross has already demonstrated how deeply He loves us. As we receive that mercy, we are also called to show patience, forgiveness, and compassion to others.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me even when I was lost and undeserving. Thank You for sending Jesus Christ to die for my sins and giving me forgiveness, hope, and new life.
Help me to stop relying on my own goodness and to rest in Your grace. Cleanse my heart, strengthen my faith, and teach me to love others with the mercy You have shown me. May my life reflect gratitude for the sacrifice of Christ.
