Reflection on Today's Verse
Sharing the gospel was not a casual responsibility to him. He labored faithfully, even working night and day, so that he would not become a burden to those he served. His conduct matched the message he preached.
Remember that genuine service is marked by sacrifice, humility, and sincerity. We do not work to earn God’s grace or prove ourselves worthy. We serve because we have already received grace through Jesus Christ. Gratitude for the gospel should shape the way we handle our work, responsibilities, relationships, and opportunities to help others.
Faithfulness may sometimes feel tiring or unnoticed, but labor done with the right heart is never meaningless. God can use our quiet diligence, honest work, and willingness to serve as a testimony to the truth we believe
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gospel of Your grace and for the salvation freely given through Jesus Christ. Help me to serve You with sincerity, humility, and faithfulness.
Give me strength when my responsibilities feel heavy. Teach me to work diligently without seeking praise, recognition, or personal advantage. May my actions support the truth I profess, and may my life never become a stumbling block to others.
Help me to use my time, energy, abilities, and opportunities wisely. Let my service flow from gratitude for all You have done for me. May I remain faithful even when my efforts are unseen or unappreciated.
