Reflection on Today's Verse
Our life should be lifted above the temporary things of this world. Since we are risen with Christ, we are called to seek the things above… truth, peace, righteousness, grace, and the will of God.
This does not mean we ignore daily responsibilities. It means we live with a higher mindset. Our decisions, desires, and priorities should be shaped by who we are in Christ. When our eyes are fixed on Him, earthly worries lose their power to control us.
Personal Prayer
Lord Jesus, help me to seek the things which are above. Teach my heart not to be consumed by fear, pressure, or worldly distractions. Remind me that my life is found in You, and that my hope is secure because You are seated at the right hand of God.
Guide my thoughts, my choices, and my desires today. Let my heart be focused on Your truth and Your grace. Amen.
