Reflection on Today's Verse
Be careful about what shapes your mind and heart. Not every idea that sounds wise is truly rooted in truth. The world offers many voices, many systems, and many traditions, but none of them can give the fullness that is found in Christ. This verse gently calls you back to Him.
When you stay centered on Christ, you are not left empty, confused, or carried away by things that only appear deep. You are grounded in the One who is true.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You for warning me through Your word and for pointing me back to Christ. Help me not to be led away by the wisdom of this world, by empty ideas, or by anything that draws my heart away from Your truth. Keep my mind steady and my faith grounded in Your Son.
Teach me to value what is after Christ and to reject what is vain and hollow. Let Your word guide my thoughts and give me discernment each day. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
