Reflection on Today's Verse
Faith and love don’t always grow with fireworks. Most days, they grow quietly—when you keep trusting God even with unanswered questions, and when you keep choosing kindness even when you’re tired. In this verse, Paul says their faith was growing “exceedingly” and their charity was “abounding.” That means it wasn’t stuck. It was moving.
And notice this: Paul thanks God for it. Because real growth isn’t just you trying harder—it’s God strengthening you from the inside while you keep showing up. If your faith feels small today, don’t panic. Small faith can still grow. If love feels hard today, don’t quit. God can make charity abound again—one choice at a time.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace that keeps working in us. Help my faith to grow stronger, deeper, and steadier. Teach me to love Your people with real charity, not just in words, but in patience, gentleness, and action.
Strengthen me where I feel weak, and let my life show evidence that You are at work. I give You this day and ask You to guide my thoughts, my choices, and my spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
