Reflection on Today's Verse
God’s goodness isn’t Him “letting things slide.” It’s Him giving you space to turn back without fear. His patience is a doorway, not a delay tactic.
Today, notice where you’ve been tense, defensive, or avoiding Him. Instead of spiraling in guilt, let His kindness soften you. Repentance isn’t you paying a price… it’s you agreeing with God and coming back into the light.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You for the riches of Thy goodness, and forbearance, and longsuffering. Forgive me for despising Thy patience by delaying my obedience. Let Thy kindness lead my heart to repentance—not fear, not pride, not shame. Search me, and show me what needs to change, and give me grace to turn quickly.
Teach me to trust that Thou art good, and that coming back to Thee is safe. Strengthen me to take the next right step today, and keep me humble and tender before Thee. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
