Reflection on Today's Verse
Grace is only grace when we don’t do anything to earn it. Trying to earn what God has already done only makes us feel bad. Christ didn’t die to give us better rules; he died to make us right with God by faith alone.
When we try to “qualify” ourselves, we get in the way of what He freely gave. Today, trust that His work is enough. We don’t have to do anything. We don’t have to show anything. Just get.
Personal Prayer
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the grace that saves, keeps, and strengthens me. Help my heart to rest in what Christ has already done. Take away all the fears that tell me I have to work for Your love.
Help me walk with confidence, knowing that Jesus accepts me. Keep me rooted in Your truth and away from depending on myself. Thank you for always being kind. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. (1, 2)
