Romans 1:20 – Today’s Verse for June 27, 2025 Friday

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.“
—  Romans 1:20 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

God has made Himself obvious. You can’t stare at a mountain range, a newborn’s eyes, or the star-pinned sky and say, “I see nothing.” His eternal power, His divine nature—they’re baked into the design. Nature isn’t random. It’s signature.

We don’t need a telescope to sense eternity or a seminary to recognize divine fingerprints. It’s built into the air, the trees, the rhythm of the tide. The problem isn’t lack of evidence. The problem is we’d rather look anywhere else.

God isn’t hiding. We are. And this verse doesn’t let us pretend ignorance is innocence. If creation is His canvas, then disbelief is a choice to turn our backs on beauty and pretend the colors paint themselves.

Personal Prayer

Lord, You’ve made it so clear. Every sunrise, every breath, every leaf on every tree whispers Your name. And still, I’ve looked away. Forgive me for the times I’ve called doubt “honesty” when really, it was just fear or pride. Teach me to see You in what You’ve already made—before I ask for more signs.

Open my eyes to the glory I keep walking past. Make my heart tender to truth, even when it’s inconvenient. Thank You for revealing Yourself so faithfully. Help me stop pretending I can’t see.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
