“But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.“
— 2 Thessalonians 3:3 KJV
Reflection on Today's Verse
God is faithful even when we feel wobbly. That’s the heart of 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Picture standing on a chair to reach a top shelf — legs shaky, hands uncertain. That’s life most days. But He’s the one holding the chair. He won’t let you topple. No matter how crafty evil looks or how drained you feel, He steps in like a quiet bodyguard.
Protection and strength come straight from Him, not from perfect behavior or superhuman willpower. It’s almost funny — we fight invisible battles with cardboard shields, while God leans in with a fortress. His faithfulness never slacks off, never takes a lunch break. Rest in that.
Personal Prayer
Lord, thank You for being the steady one when I’m off balance. Thank You for guarding me when I hardly know where the threats hide.
Teach me trust Your grip more than my own. Help me lean back into Your faithfulness every time my knees knock. Amen.
