Bible Verse Reflection
David, like many believers, was afraid of his enemies growing in number, overwhelmed by his many problems, and sinking into despair. Yet, despite all his difficulties, David was able to look to the Lord and place his burdens on Him. David knew God would support him through any difficulty, because God is faithful and will not allow the righteous to lose heart.
Today, we are also becoming more overwhelmed by terrors, threats, which can cause fear and fainting inside. However, throughout the Word of God, we are reminded to not be afraid, for the Lord our God will always be with us, wherever we go. We are also encouraged to place all our worries upon Him, because He cares.
My Prayer
Thank You Heavenly Father for allowing me to trust You no matter the dangers and evils that threaten me or any terrors and difficulties that may come near me. I can also know that You will support and strengthen me.. in Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
