Philippians 3:14 – Today’s Verse for May 15, 2025 Thursday

“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.“
—  Philippians 3:14 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

Here’s the truth: grace doesn’t mean we coast. It means we run—freed from shame, not fueled by fear. Paul wasn’t striving to earn God’s love; he already had it. That’s what made him relentless. He wasn’t hustling for approval—he was running because he’d been chosen.

Grace doesn’t erase the race. It just changes why we run. We’re not chasing perfection. We’re chasing the One who already finished the course and handed us His victory. Every stumble is met with mercy. Every detour, covered by love. And every step, even the shaky ones, are leading us home.

So if you’re crawling, limping, or sprinting today—keep going. Not because you have to earn the prize. But because the One who called you already placed it in your hands.

Personal Prayer

Lord, sometimes I feel tired. I lose focus. I forget why I’m even running. But You remind me—I’m not chasing a trophy made of gold. I’m chasing You. And You’ve already run this road ahead of me.

Thank You for calling me higher—not to prove myself, but to walk in the purpose You’ve already written over my life. When I trip, catch me. When I slow down, breathe strength back into me. Keep my eyes on You, not on the noise around me or the weight behind me.

I don’t want to just exist—I want to press on. Press through. Press upward. Not for applause. Not for perfection. Just to know You more. That’s the prize. You’re the prize.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
