Psalm 21:13 – Today’s Verse for January 24, 2025 Friday

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

There’s something beautiful, almost paradoxical, about grace being “sufficient.” It doesn’t always take away the struggle, but it carries us through it. It’s enough, even when we feel like we’re not. And the best part? His power isn’t hindered by our weaknesses—it’s actually highlighted through them. That means our struggles, our failures, and those areas where we feel completely inadequate are the very places where God shows up the most.

So what does this mean for us? It’s a reminder to stop striving so much to prove ourselves and instead lean into His grace. To embrace the fact that we don’t have to be strong all the time. Weakness isn’t the end of the story; it’s the place where God begins to work in ways we never imagined.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, inadequate, or just plain tired, remember: God’s grace is enough. Right now. In this very moment. And His power? It’s working in you—even in the broken places.

Personal Prayer

Father, I come before You with a heart that often feels weak and weary. There are days when I feel like I’m not enough—like my struggles, my failures, and my limitations are too much to carry. But Lord, Your Word reminds me that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in my weakness.

Thank You for loving me just as I am, for meeting me in my brokenness, and for reminding me that I don’t have to have it all together. Help me to lean into Your grace instead of my own strength. Teach me to trust that You are working in my life, even when I can’t see it.

When I am tempted to rely on my own abilities, gently draw me back to You. Remind me that it’s okay to be weak because it’s in those moments that You show Your strength in the most beautiful ways. Let my life be a testimony of Your power working through my imperfections.

I surrender my fears, my doubts, and my need for control into Your hands. Fill me with Your peace, and give me the courage to walk each day in the confidence of Your grace. Thank You for always being enough for me.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
