2 Thessalonians 1:12 – Today’s Verse for March 14, 2025 Saturday

“That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.“
2 Thessalonians 1:12 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

God’s grace is everything. It changes us, carries us, and shines through us. Paul is reminding the Thessalonians—and us—that our lives should glorify Jesus. Not just in big ways, but in everyday choices.

Think about that. The way we speak, how we treat people, the things we focus on—all of it should point to Him. But here’s the amazing part. It’s not just about us glorifying Jesus. He also lifts us up in Him. We reflect His light, and in return, He makes us part of His glory.

That’s grace. We don’t earn it. We just receive it. And when we do, our lives naturally become a testimony of His goodness.

So today, ask yourself: Does my life bring glory to Jesus? Am I letting His grace shape me? If not, He’s ready. Just turn to Him. His grace is always there.

Personal Prayer

Lord Jesus, I want my life to glorify You. In my words, my thoughts, and my actions, let Your name be lifted high. Not just when it’s easy, but in the quiet moments, in the struggles, in the way I love others.

I know I can’t do this on my own. I need Your grace. Shape me, refine me, and fill me with Your Spirit. When I fall short, remind me that Your grace is enough. When I feel weak, remind me that You are strong.

Let Your light shine through me. Not for my own recognition, but so others can see You in me. And in all things, may I find my joy, my purpose, and my hope in You.

Amen.
