Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. — 1 Timothy 4:12 KJV
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. — 1 Timothy 4:12 KJV
Bible Verse Reflection
The youthful passions shouldn’t be dismissed as a flimsy excuse or put aside. If you’re younger you’re not just part of the community of the future, but you have also been a servant of God now. Serve Him with all your heart and serve as a model to others that are more mature.
If you’re older take a look at the youthful enthusiasm instead, encourage it and try to follow in its footsteps! We must remember that the best models are the ones younger who are serving God with a strong faith.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the spirited and enthusiastic Christians who are still in the early years of adulthood. Give them the strength to be witnesses and bless their work, and ensure their hearts are clean as they mature and grow in your ministry. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
