1 Corinthians 15:58 – Today’s Verse for July 24, 2025 Thursday

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.“
—  1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

This verse isn’t about hustle. It’s about hope. Paul’s not telling us to grind harder—he’s telling us to ground deeper. Steadfast doesn’t mean busy. It means rooted. Immovable doesn’t mean stubborn. It means anchored. Life can shake you, press you, pull you in twenty directions. But Paul is handing you a compass: keep doing the work that lasts beyond today, the kind that echoes into eternity.

You won’t always see the fruit. You’ll question if it matters. That prayer whispered in silence. That kindness no one noticed. That act of faith when doubt screamed louder. But God saw. And in His economy, nothing done in love for Him is ever wasted. Not one seed. Not one tear. Not one tired “yes.”

Stay planted. Stay faithful. You’re not building sandcastles. You’re laying bricks in a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

Personal Prayer

Lord, some days I feel steady. Other days, I feel like I’m one breath away from unraveling. But You, Lord—You are not moved. Anchor me in that. Keep me from chasing applause and remind me that You are watching even when no one else is.

I pray that my small acts of obedience be enough for today. Not perfect, just faithful. And when I grow tired, whisper again that this labor is not in vain. I’m not wasting my time—I’m investing it in something eternal. Amen.
